There are some interesting places that you should not leave out when coming to Ba Be National Park. Firstly, you can enjoy a boat trip on a part of Nang River inside Puong Cave - a large cave with 30m high, 300m long. Looking into the cave, you will see that it is inhabited by a population of thousand of bats belonging to 18 species. After exploring the cave, you will note that Nang River flows at the foot of the limestone mountain, goes through Puong Cave to reach Ba Be Lake and consists of a series of spectacular cascades between perpendicular walls of rock. Ba Be National Park is a reserve in Bac Kan Province, northeast Vietnam, whose role is to protect a freshwater lake (Ba Be Lake) along with surrounding limestone and lowland evergreen forests. It is located about 240 kilometers northwest of the capital – Hanoi – city.

Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake ( Meals: L, D )

6:30 – 7:00: Our bus and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel/stay in Hanoi Old Quarter to BaBe National Park. Em route to BaBe Lake, you have the short time to take photo of natural landscape and strecht your legs.

12:30: Arrive BaBe Lake View Homestay. You can wash your face, hands with very cool and fesh water before enjoying the lunch.

14:00: After the nice vietnamese lunch, you take the time to walk from homestay to the boat station in Pac Ngoi village ( aprrox 1km walking ).

14:30: You start to visit and discover the beauty of BaBe Lake – a stunning lake in the green forest by boat trip to Fairy Pond, An Ma temple. You can see the local life of local Tay people who is living by fishing and farming in the lake area.

16:30: You take the Bamboo rafting and leisurely time to swimming in the pure and fresh water of the lake. Enjoy Sunset Party – the most intereting activities while the journey in Ba Be Lake.

17:30: Hiking back to homestay where you relax and overnight.

18:30: Have a Dinner at homestay.

Optional: If you would like to see the traditional dacing style and listen to their traditional folk music of Tay people, you can talk to each other in group and pay the fee for local artists who will help you understand much more their custume and culture.

Day 2: Ba Be National Park – Full day trekking/Hiking ( Meals: B, L, D )

You could wake up ealier to listen to the sound of nature in the early morning. Hundred of birth and other sound will make your morning much more interesting.

Option 1 ( Main option ): 20km Medium trekking: Pac Ngoi village – Mo Qua village

7:30: Have Breakfast at homestay

8:30: Start trekking to the villages of Mo, Lom village of Tay people in the moutain with local tour guide ( less knowledge of English speaking )

12:30: Take the break-time at Qua village of Tay people for Lunch

14:00: Continue trekking to Chay village. Join the other route to see the other corner of natural beauty.

16:00: Stop at Na Phoong cave ( 1km from the main road ), then take the Bamboo rafting and swimming before heading back to homestay.

19:00: Have Dinner and overnight at same homestay.

Option 2: 20km hard trekking – Boat trip – Pac Ngoi village – Na Ban, Na Nghe village.

7:30: Have a Breakfast at homestay

8:30: Start trekking to Na ban, Na Nghe village of H’Mong and Dzao people with local tour guide ( Less knowledge English speaking ). Through the journey, it seems you are living in the primitive atmosphere of local people.

12:00: Have Lunch at a traditional village of Dzao people known as Na Nghe village.

13:00: Continue trekking to Dan May village. Take a boat to visit the other bank of Nang river.

14:00: Take the break-time at Dau Dang waterfall – a small waterfall in the end of Nang river.

15:00: Head to the way back to homestay by boat. Enjoy the Bamboo rafting and swimming in the Lake.

19:00: Have Dinner and Overnight at the same homestay.

Note: Add 25$ for the boat come back to homestay. Tour must opened with the decision of all tourists.

Day 3: Ba Be Lake – Hua Ma cave – Cycling time – Hanoi ( Meals: B, L )

You could wake up ealier to listen to the sound of nature in the early morning. Hundred of birth and other sound will make your morning much more interesting.

7:30: Enjoy Breakfast at Homestay

8:15: Take the time to cycling to Leng market – a small local market of Tay and Dzao people. In here, you get the best chance to explore and understand the life of local minorities in BaBe National Park.

9:15: Visiting Hua Ma cave – the biggest one in BaBe National Park with 6km length.

11:15: Come back to the homestay. Check out the homestay and have Lunch.

After Lunch time, you can take some photo and relax before getting on the bus to come back to Hanoi.

19:30: Bus and tour guide will drop you off at your hotel/stay in Hanoi Old Quarter. Trip ends.
